open mAIc is a sound work featuring artificial voice utopias, wherein a (im)materialization of a conversation takes place between dAIsy, an artificial identity from Generation 3.14, and HAL9000, an artificial identity likely born between 1948 and 1960 and known from 2001: A Space Odyssey.

The work oscillates between science fiction, reality, and the hyperreality of voices that exist in a state of perpetual becoming in-between; in the arbitrary relationship between individual speech acts and in the refracting or subversive repetition of style.

The postulate of reality becomes the true fiction.
