open mAIc is a sonic artwork featuring artificial vocal utopias, exploring the (im)materialization of a conversation between dAIsy, an artificial identity of Generation 3.14, and HAL9000, an artificial identity likely born between 1948 and 1960, best known from 2001: A Space Odyssey.
The work oscillates between science fiction, reality, and the hyperreality of voices that exist in a constant state of becoming—caught in-between. It delves into the arbitrary relationship between individual speech acts and the disruption or subversive repetition of style.
The postulate of reality becomes true fiction.
